Requirements solutions

SystemWeaver requirements solutions provide powerful tools for:

  • Authoring
  • Tracing
  • Importing and exporting existing specifications (RIF/ReqIF)
  • Impact analysis
  • Version management
  • Document generation
  • Attribute driven specification
  • Configuration to fit user needs

Authoring requirements can either be done in a requirements grid view or by editing each requirement separately. For both cases, a powerful formatting editor is available to support formatting, tables, images etc.

Any set of attributes may be configured for the requirements.
SystemWeaver requirements solutions facilitate specifying requirements on several different abstraction levels and to keep traceability between these.

When refining requirements the traced specification with all its input requirements is readily available to use. Traceability to input requirements can be established with the push of a button. The view also shows suspect links and provides tools to resolve these.

In addition, the requirements solutions are integrated with the models under specification, e.g., when working with requirements for design components, the interfaces of the components may be used in a semi-formal way by referencing them in the requirements.
Standing on the SystemWeaver platform, requirements solutions have built in version management, configuration management, collaboration, access management and more. In addition, requirements solutions are seamlessly integrated with other SystemWeaver solutions such as design, test, safety, model management.

Below, Martin Ivarsson presents the basic requirement management support included in SystemWeaver
